In her most extensive public comments to date on the subject, CT-5th District congressional candidate Lisa Wilson-Foley Saturday rejected claims Gov. John G. Rowland’s paid consulting job with her husband’s company had anything to do with his volunteer role on the campaign.
In an interview with cttalking.com’s Dan Lovallo she said there was no wrong doing involving ex-Governor John G. Rowland in either her campaign or his work at her husband’s company. Critics have suggested Rowland was hired by Brian Foley to work for Apple Rehab, as a back door way of getting paid to offer advice to Wilson-Foley’s campaign. The candidate has insisted Rowland volunteered for her campaign.
